I’ve been gone for a long while, too busy and cluttered of mind to blog. If a clearer opportunity to ‘get back in the saddle’ exists, now that we all are craving human connections and have the time — I’m not sure what that would look like. I’m sure I wouldn’t want to know.
Love in the Time of Cholera
A brilliant work, by a brilliant author - Gabriel José García Márquez. I ordered a copy of it so I can re-read it now, here in Charleston. A simple love story set against the backdrop of a sultry, tropical city, it is a reminder that love persists, despite the world crashing down around you. That we are all victims of lovesickness, that family bonds can be strong, even if you are not.
